Save the Children’s Civil Society Strengthening Program (PASC for its Spanish acronym) in Latin America seeks to strengthen civil society organizations so that they can demand and support the fulfillment of children’s rights, holding states to account and mobilizing and empowering children and their communities.
The strengthening of partner organizations is based on their needs and priorities to ensure their sustainability. Our work to advocate for and expand Civic Space aims to strengthen civil society as a whole.
The program has a regional scope, and the strength of the program is given by the joint advocacy and co-created programming among the partners. It is an intergenerational program where children and adolescents work hand in hand with adults and are the protagonists of the program.
PASC is Save the Children’s model program for localization and Shifting Power through equitable partnerships, flexible funding and capacity strengthening.
CHICOS.NET
Chicos.net is an Argentine organization that promotes the safe and responsible use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Save the Children partner since 2006, provides technical support to PASC partners that address ICT as a cross-cutting issue in their projects.

CEDECA CEARA
The Centro de Defesa e da Crianza e do Adolescente do Ceará (CEDECA) is a Brazilian Save the Children partner since 2002, working on investment in children. CEDECA works in the analysis of the public budget for children and promotes advocacy actions to ensure greater transparency in public investment.
REDE NAO BATA, EDUQUE
Brazilian national network, Save the Children partner since 2013, working to promote public policies for education without violence for children and adolescents, and in awareness campaigns on the application of positive discipline methodology for raising children, girls and adolescents by parents and educators.

The United for Children Foundation, FUN, is a non-profit organization. At FUN we work for the protection and promotion of the rights of children and adolescents through different educational, psychotherapeutic and training programs aimed at children, families, schools and the community. We offer the services of school and community prevention programs and specialized psychological care for boys, girls, adolescents who are victims of mistreatment, sexual abuse, and families in crisis. We are the only organization in the Republic of Panama that works on the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
GLOBAL INFANCIA
Partner of Save the Children since 1995. It is an expert organization in political advocacy and campaigns with non-governmental actors, private sector companies and the media, and provides technical support to PASC partners in the area of National Comprehensive Child Protection Systems.
