DIGITAL ACTIVISM COURSE

Activism for your Rights is a laboratory for the creation and acceleration of public good campaigns led by teenagers. We believe that those who better know the issues aecting them do not always have the tools to communicate their ideas about such issues. Our program was created to hack this situation.

OBJECTIVES:

  • TRAINING: We provide training on digital resources that allow teenagers to generate high-impact content so that their rights, causes and ideals are heard. We do this with the support of specialists in communication, digital tools and activism.
  • ACCELERATION: We help young people and their communities to accelerate their public good campaigns, imple menting strategies to leverage their messages in the media ecosystem and social networks, reaching beyond their local communities.

Through PASC we  promote children and adolescents through the digital activism course “Activism for your rights” develop and lead digital campaigns, this course has strengthened and provided skills to more than 450 adolescents in digital communication, video editing, critical analysis of information and digital media, as well as to raise awareness and make demands – in a creative and strategic way – on issues related to human rights that call them (children’s rights, comprehensive sexual education, climate change.
