Gender equality

“WE SEEK TO TRANSFORM GENDER INEQUALITIES THAT CAUSE DISCRIMINATION AND VIOLENCE, THROUGH ACTIONS THAT ADDRESS SOCIAL NORMS THAT VIOLATE THE RIGHTS OF THE MOST DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND WOMEN DUE TO CONDITIONS OF DISABILITY, ETHNICITY, MIGRATION AND POVERTY.”

Paz y Esperanza, Peru

The PASC Program seeks to strengthen the capacities of partner organizations, including child participation, holding states accountable and civic space to promote gender equity at all levels and transform gender norms.

We work for the empowerment of women and girls, recognizing that the equal fulfillment of their rights is key to their positive and sustainable development. We promote positive and diverse expressions of masculinities by engaging men and boys as key actors in promoting gender equality. We engage communities and institutions to change discriminatory attitudes, norms and behaviors that are barriers to gender equality, recognizing and encouraging diverse participation.
