Child Rights Programming

“BOYS AND GIRLS HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING OF OUR RIGHTS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR ROLE IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE BETWEEN CHILDREN AND CIVIL SOCIETY”.

Programación de los derechos de la niñez

Child rights programming involves the use of child rights principles throughout the program cycle, from problem identification and planning to implementation and monitoring, so that children and adolescents can fully exercise their rights and live in societies that recognize and respect them.

PASC contributes to the development of rights-based programming capacities of duty bearers to fulfill their commitments: to respect, protect and fulfill children’s rights. Similarly, rights-based programming implies that duty bearers must be accountable for progress in the fulfillment of rights.

We promote the empowerment of children and adolescents as holders of rights, so that they can raise their voices and contribute to the vindication of their rights, from a gender equality and inclusion approach, based on the local context.
