PASC’s capacity strengthening approach with our partners has four levels, all of which are complementary and interdependent.

At the base of the triangle is the strengthening of basic organizational capacities for the partnership. Save the Children ensures from the beginning the organizational strengthening of the partners in good practices of financial-administrative management, safeguarding, governance, internal policies, among others.

The next level is organizational and technical capacity building, focused on improving the quality of interventions and working towards organizational sustainability. The processes at these two levels are led and evaluated by each partner based on a participatory methodology of analysis and reflection of their own institutional capacities and a strengthening plan based on their needs and projections. The Program encourages the exchange of capacities and experiences among members, in order to contribute to organizational growth.

At a higher level are the strengthening actions for civil society in general, beyond formal partnerships, through mobilization and advocacy, and thus increase the influence and voice of civil society for children’s rights.
