WE TAKE TO THE STREETS TO DEFEND OUR RIGHTS AND FIND INDIFFERENCE BY SOCIETY, BY THE AUTHORITIES, BY THE MEDIA, REPRESSION, AND VIOLENCE. TRAINING AND AWARENESS-RAISING ARE KEY TO GUARANTEEING THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE AND RAISE OUR VOICES.
We strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations, which jointly assess and analyze restrictions or obstructions to civic space, using a tool developed by Save the Children that allows them to obtain a global and comparative view of the situation of civic space and define strategies for its preservation.
We promote spaces for dialogue with regional human rights actors so that the voices of children and adolescents are heard and taken into consideration.
Jointly with our partners, we analyze threats against children’s rights defenders and activists, promoting risk mitigation, alliance building, and denouncing repression in Latin America.
