RadioAid Foundation and Save the Children Sweden visited Guatemala and El Salvador in order to learn more about the work on the ground and the impact that PASC’s actions have on the lives of children and adolescents.

This visit was attended by Malte Stövring, director of international programmes at RadioAid, Albin Ölveborn, international programme officer at RadioAid and Jon Bergeå, advocacy advisor at Save the Children Sweden, together with Erica Marcos, PASC’s gender advisor.

They learned first-hand about the work that Redmuch and Fundasil do in their communities, sharing different spaces with groups of girls and boys, as well as adults. In the case of ORMUSA and REDESCA (CIPRODENI and RIA), it was possible to reflect on the regional focus of the programme and the joint advocacy processes that are developed, as well as the strengthening of technical and organisational capacities.

Finally, getting to know a regional network led by children, such as REDNNyAS, made it possible to see the efforts that children and adolescents are making to integrate different voices, experiences and experiences in an articulated plan of activities and advocacy, from the local to the global level.
