Rebeca brings the voice of Latin American adolescents to global event on sexual and reproductive rights in Geneva

In the framework of the 76th World Health Assembly, held in Geneva during the last week of May, Rebeca participated in a side event co-organised by Save the Children and IPPF, entitled “Fulfilling Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: What Adolescents Want”.

It is with great joy that we join as activists bringing the voices of girls and young women in Latin America. It is a great opportunity to expose what children and adolescents think about our sexual and reproductive rights,” said Rebeca from El Salvador. Rebecca traveled to Geneva to share the proposal with other adolescents from REDNNyAs, MOLACNNNATS and YO TAMBIEN TENGO ALGO TENGO ALGO DECIR.

This space allowed for the exploration of advances in sexual and reproductive health issues and made it clear that working together allows for a better response to social needs. It also allowed to promote the importance of investment in health, education and the urgency of promoting comprehensive education on SRHR and contribute to the actions promoted through the SDGs.
